• Location: Organic Hill, Suhum, Eastern Area

Role Summary

To oversee and direct work tasks on the farm while ensuring profitability. Will oversee project planning and manage farm activities to ensure successful and efficient daily operations.

Main Duties

• Create and execute production strategies for crops including Pineapple, Avocado, Vanilla, Passion fruits, and more.
• Create and oversee agricultural budgets, keeping a record of costs and revenue.
• Educate and oversee agricultural workers to guarantee safety and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee and motivate the team to reach production targets.
• Keep farm tools and machinery in proper working condition.
• Guarantee adherence to applicable agricultural laws and food safety guidelines.
• Carry out administrative duties for the farms
• Oversee and manage workers’ tasks such as planting, irrigation, application of agricultural inputs, harvesting, etc.
• Organizing and determining harvesting choices.
• Oversee everyday activities and long-term agricultural enterprises.
• Effectively oversee farm labourers.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as instructed by the group chairman/line manager.

Qualification & Experience

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science/Management or a related area. Having a master’s degree will provide a beneficial advantage.
• A minimum of five (5) years of exceptional work experience in farm management is required.
• Should possess robust administrative and management abilities.
• Should complete supplementary courses in business management or administration
• Should possess excellent leadership abilities
• IT skills are essential
• Financial literacy to create and adhere to budgets.
• Extensive understanding of agriculture.
• Should be focused on people.
