About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Saint Etienne du Rouvray, France. This is an on-site Poste supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Compensation

€21-29/hr (EUR hourly)

Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
