Context The role of the LCH SA COO department is to oversee LCH SA’s daily business operations, implement the business strategies and optimise the organisation’s operational capabilities. As a Central Counterparty, LCH SA must comply with many regulations and have the highest standards in risk management in general and in operational resilience in particular. DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) creates a regulatory framework for digital operational resilience under which firms must ensure that they can withstand, respond to and recover from all types of ICT-related (information and communication technology) disruptions and threats. The requirements are homogenous across all EU member states. The financial entities must fully comply with DORA by 17 January 2025. As part of the LCH SA COO Office, the intern will assist the LCH SA DORA Program manager in the oversight of the execution of the DORA Program. This is an opportunity to be part of the implementation of a regulatory high-risk programmes which is key in the LCH SA strategy to make the organisation more resilient to Operational Risk. Key Responsibilities of trainee Support the Program Manager in putting in place metrics to pilot and monitor efficiently the program progression Assist the Program Manager and work closely with the different operational teams (IT, Operations, Finance, Business lines) in order to assess and put in place the appropriate level of dashboard (PowerPoint , Excel) for mid to senior management levels. Ensure coordination with operation teams and Project Managers to gather status on their deliverables. Follow up evidence consolidation process between LOD1 and LOD2, to justify a full compliancy of the regulatory text. When relevant, use and develop the adequate communication channels (Newsletters, website, Townhall, …) towards various teams to facilitate the change management on the program. Experience & Skills Required
  • Licence / Master 1 / Business School
  • Good knowledge of the MS Pack Office (mainly PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Good written and verbal English and French communication skills
  • Be able to clearly communicate to various stakeholders (e.g., internal team, management level)
